Shannon is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering. As a member of the Daly Design and Engineering Education Research Group, her research focuses on front-end design practices, specifically divergent thinking, idea generation, and student experiences in engineering. She is from Pasadena, MD, and received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, building LEGO sets, and musicals.

Courtney is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering, advised by Dr. Andre Boehman with a focus on diesel engines fueled with alternative fuels. She grew up in Haverhill, MA, and received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Merrimack College in 2019 with minors in mathematics and business management. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cooking, learning new things, and buying too many plants.

Sarah likes to relax and recharge by camping, watching movies, gardening, and quality time with her puppers.

Onyinye is a PhD student in Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering. Her research mainly focuses on the study of the electrodynamic coupling of the ionosphere-thermosphere system.

Lauren Cooper is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering, working on creating novel setups for few-cycle pulses in fiber lasers. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Western Kentucky University in 2019. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, running, reading the classics, and learning Russian.
